Kim Sklinar, founder of Never Enough Press, entered the world of music right back before she started University, broadcasting on local radio in her hometown of Leeds. After various stints on University radio and magazines, then writing for allgigs.co.uk and The 405 among others, Kim created her own e-zine Never Enough Notes in 2009.
Now, Never Enough Notes receives over 50,000 views a month and has almost 100 contributors – in return it offers mentoring and career development advice to its writers. In the summer of 2011 Never Enough Press was borne from a demand for affordable press without any monthly strings to be attached to.
Kim’s design skills are self-taught – the internet has played a massive part in her upbringing and personal/professional development and instead of attending formal courses, she prefers to read and learn online.
